Growing up in Saratoga County, I had no idea this little oasis existed. Hidden away in the town of Charlton is Little Troy Park, a 20-acre recreation area with a playground, picnic tables, sandy beach, and a swimming pond. It's a members-only club, but they are holding open house weekends from 1pm-6pm for a limited time. The beach has a dock, floating dock, slide, and is supervised by a lifeguard. Currently, the beach is open on weekends, but will be open daily starting June 27th. Kids swimming lessons will also be offered for members this summer. Different membership levels are offered via their website at littletroypark.org.
