Ivan Mesik scored a dramatic late equaliser to earn Charlton Athletic a 2-2 draw at Turf Moor on 13 October. The Addicks twice came from behind against Burnley to secure a point that keeps them 12th in the Championship on 14 points.

Burnley took the lead in the 36th minute through Jacob Bruun Larsen, who finished a low shot after being set up by Josh Laurent. Kayne Ramsay levelled for Charlton just after half-time, converting from a corner that the home defence failed to clear.

Largie Ramazani restored Burnley's advantage in the 57th minute, firing in his second goal of the season. The hosts, who out-shot Charlton 18 to 9, looked set for victory until the sixth minute of added time. Harvey Knibbs found Mesik inside the area and the midfielder struck to salvage a point.

Lloyd Jones was a defensive standout for the visitors, making eight clearances, while Burnley's Ramazani was named Player of the Match. The result means Charlton's recent form reads four draws and one defeat from their last five league games.

Nathan Jones's side now turn their attention to a trip to Vicarage Road to face Watford on 17 October.
