Charlton Athletic's U21s will host Sheffield United's U21s at The Valley on Tuesday at 1pm BST in the Professional Development League. The match offers fans a chance to see the club's emerging talent in action at the first-team stadium.
Manager Chris Lock's side are looking to build on a 2-2 draw away at Sheffield Wednesday in their last PDL outing. Their visitors, Sheffield United, also drew 1-1 with Cardiff City at Bramall Lane last Monday.
Adult admission for the fixture is priced at just £3, with tickets for over-65s and under-18s costing £2. Valley Gold members and 2026/27 men's season-ticket holders can attend for free. Tickets can be purchased via the club's official website.
For those unable to attend, live coverage will be provided on CharltonTV as part of monthly or annual subscriptions, with a one-off match pass also available. The broadcast will feature single-camera coverage with replays and commentary from Terry Smith. Live updates will also run on the @CharltonAcademy X account, with a full match report published on the club site afterwards.
Supporters can follow the academy's progress on its official Instagram page, @thecafcacademy. The club also encourages fans to consider joining the Valley Gold scheme, which directly funds the development of future talent and offers cash prize draws.
The senior side, sitting 9th in the Championship on 12 points, are next in action at home to Bristol City on 10 October.
