Portsmouth writer Jordan Cross has predicted the line-up John Mousinho could select for Friday's Championship trip to face Charlton Athletic at The Valley. The Addicks sit fifth in the table with 11 points from six games, just two points off the top.
Cross expects Mousinho to make changes following last weekend's win over Cardiff City. He predicts Daniel Bielica will start in goal, with Terry Devlin at right-back and Benjy Arthur in central defence. New signing Jayden Meghoma is tipped to feature down the left flank.
"Here's how Pompey writer Jordan Cross thinks Mousinho will go against the Addicks," the prediction piece stated. Zak Swanson is seen as the main competition for Devlin's place on the right side of the defence.
Charlton's recent form has been mixed, with one win, two draws and two losses in their last five outings. Their most recent result was a goalless draw at home to Queens Park Rangers on 9 September. They will be looking to improve on that performance in front of their own fans.
The team's current position and recent results are also available in our standings section.
The match kicks off at The Valley on Friday, 12 September.
