Charlton Athletic Announces Player Departures

Charlton Athletic has announced that five players will be leaving the club at the end of the month when their contracts expire. The departing players include Emma Bissell, Frankie Finlayson, Karin Muya, Gracie Pearse, and Amalie Thestrup.

What happened?

The Addicks announced their end of season released list via a post on their official club website. The players contributed to the team's promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Why it matters for Charlton

Bissell was the club’s third-highest performer when it came to goals and assists in 2025/2026. Youngster Finlayson is a product of the Charlton Athletic academy system and will be looking for an opportunity for regular minutes in the coming seasons.
